JPA

The company JPA, headquartered in Josselin, France, operates in the slaughtering, cutting, and trading of pork meat. The plant began its operations in 1990 as part of a large French pig-farming cooperative called “Olympic.”
In 2004, following a restructuring, it was renamed “Europig.” In 2007, the ownership of the plant changed, and it was subsequently renamed “GAD.”

It operates 11 beef production plants in Italy and four more within the European Union, as well as dozens of logistics facilities both within and outside the EU.

BATALLE

The company Cárnicas Batallé is situated in Riudarenes in Girona (Catalunya), Spain. It is a large deboning plant of pork meat with its own stables of pigs and slaughterhouse. By giving special attention to the genetic line of pigs, as well as to the rearing conditions of pigs, the family Batalle through many generations in this field, has managed for its name to be synonymous with meat quality in Spain and the whole world.
Besides the fresh and frozen pork products from simple pigs known as ‘cerdo blanco’ in Spain, the company Batalle has its own line of premium pork products from pigs that are 100% of the breed Duroc that have been raised for decades in stables owned by the family Batalle. The Duroc products have high levels of marbling and a great taste, making them of great value to restaurants and the horeca field.
Batallé also has a company producing a series of curated products with a specialty in jamón serrano from 100% Duroc which is as good if not better in flavour than the famous jamón ibérico.

BIERNACKI

The company Biernacki ZPM Sp. z.o.o. was founded in 1993 and is today one of the largest producers of bovine meat in Poland. With the potential of slaughtering 800 – 1200 cattle daily, this company exports several tons of fresh and frozen bovine meat all over the world every week.

ALMA MEAT

ALMAMEAT is a company that specializes in the slaughter and production of bovine products in Spain. It was founded in 2020 when the Grupo Barberena bought and modernized the public slaughterhouse Salinas de Pamplona in the city of Pamplona (Navarra). The Barberena Brothers before buying this plant, had a longtime experience in the transport and raising of cattle in Spain with their own trucks of livestock transport as well as their own and collaborating stables.
The company in collaboration with stables in the region of Asturias, besides young bulls of the breeds ‘Blonde d’ Aquitaine’ and ‘Limousin’, is now trading also meat of young bulls from the famous breed ‘Asturiana de las Valles’, an indigenous breed of the Cantabric Mountains of the region of Asturias in Spain that has had a remarkable success in the Greek market in the last few years.
