DAFNE Ltd was founded in 1982 by Pavlos Zikos, who already had a vast experience in the import of fresh and frozen meat.
Since then, the company has been successfully operating in the field of imported edible products in Greece, mainly fresh & frozen meat. Dafne ltd. represents several producers from different European countries.
Pavlos Zikos
He graduated from the Department of Commerce of the Athens University of Economics and Business and followed a successful career in big companies in the fresh and frozen meat industry.In 1984 he made the big decision to set up his own meat agency, DAFNE LTD, the name the company still has today.
The company has since established itself as one of the most important in its field, mediating large projects such as supplying the Greek army, supermarket chains and large hotel units with meat. He still holds an active role in the company, guiding it with his large experience, through the transition to a new era.

Initially, he followed a different path. A graduate of Biology, with a MSc in Marine Biology in the USA, he could have pursued a successful career in this field abroad.
However, his love for his family’s business won him over and he decided to return to Greece and dedicate himself to his father’s work and in collaboration with his brother, to advance the company to a new era.

Vasilis Kafiras
Konstantina Papanikolaou
A graduate of the Department of Social Anthropology at Panteion University, she developed significant communication skills that enhanced her professional development and facilitated her direct and effective interaction with people. With six years of experience in the meat industry and expertise in customer management and commercial processes, she joined the Dafni Ltd. team in 2022. Since then, she has been contributing daily to the coordination of orders as well as maintaining continuous and direct communication with partners and clients, consistently supporting the smooth operation of the company.
Nikos Pouranis
He has been employed with the company since 2017 and from the very beginning experienced the warm, family-oriented atmosphere that characterizes it. A Business Administration graduate with a Master’s degree in Finance and Banking Management from the University of Piraeus, he has experience in both customer service and financial departments, supporting the company’s daily operations. His main goal is the steady growth of the business and the maintenance of its strong market presence as a reliable and reputable brand.
Marialena Karastatiri
Marialena has known the Zikos family from a young age and has always been impressed by the family-oriented atmosphere of the company, as well as the variety of foreign languages used to facilitate smooth communication with its partners. With three years of experience in sales and customer service, her longstanding desire to join the company was fulfilled in 2025, making her the youngest member of the team.
